   A friendship ~ A kiss ~
   a glance back at what we might have missed ~

   A laugh ~ good cheer ~ things that are precious ~
   what we hold dear...

   Enthusiasm for what we want to come ~
   remember without hope it could fall apart
   and come undone...

   One nights thought that we finally made it right ~
   then a laugh to ourself ~ Oh ! what a flight ~
  
   A sentimental feeling with no desire to recover...
   because you see we understand...

Closest to you in the middle of the night ~

   Closest to you when its dark and no light ~

   The day hasn't started, no words yet to hear

   ...its just comforting to know you are close

   and your near....

   Held back in voice ~ no, not by choice, feeling

   your presence is worthwhile ~ submissions rejoice !

   Amazing it is, how one can feel ~ emotions and thoughts

   sensually surreal...

   Yet here in this place its the peacefulness I choose

   to conceal..

   So let the dark have its way ~ at peace the silence will

   stay - you see it all mattered when you came my way...

   ...and when it becomes Good-Morning, and a day becomes new

   I'll smile with these words-as it makes me feel...
